novembre ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- scared the rattling windowpane woke me up at five this morning. i forgot to lock it last night. someone was reaching over the screen partition and inching the window open slowly throughout the night. when i lifted the curtain, i saw just how far. they must have used their fingertips, pushing against the glass. whoever it was could have climbed inside my bedroom in a few more minutes. i locked it and huddled back under my covers, eyes wide for the next hour. if i had slept through that sound and they got in, what do you think they would have done 10:12 am - 05.10.04 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
