home is where the people you love keep their hearts.
for years so many of my friends were spread out all over the northern united states that it felt like i didn't really belong anywhere, not in the sense that i'm talking about. i still have close-emotionally-but-far-away-physically friends, but somehow suddenly i know lots of amazing people in the bay area, more than i've ever known in one place, making this particular setting feel the most comfortable, the most accessible, and the funnest place i've ever lived. owen: this place will lose some of its luster once you move to portland.
