We didn't have as much time as we needed to hear each others' stories. He was still in love with the girl who broke his heart last fall. I'm let down, because I want him, because something happens to us when we look at each other, but I'm not angry. I'm thankful: I know what I want now: I feel as if I've walked away from a car accident that miraculously realigned my back.
