novembre ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- he said he said he said but he said i spent the first week of the new year looking back at the boys i've been involved with in 2005, and then all of them, because you know how it is with thoughts like that. they just keep coming. most of the boys i've been with liked to feed me promises one at a time, like finger food. little appetizers. popped them in my mouth and i swallowed most of them because you know i like attention. i wonder what promises i've made and dropped in return. why did three boys lend me their favorite books when we first hung out? three. what is this trend? it is so touching but afterwards i make a point of giving them back, because books shouldn't carry such heavy connotations when they have their own plots to shoulder. i have my own plot, too. wouldn't you like to find out how i end? i would. should i give this last book back now, or hold on to it for a little while longer? regardless, this is the year where my narrative takes shape. this is the year where i don't write off most dudes right away because i'm afraid of getting hurt. today a city of oakland health inspector came in and took pictures of our warehouse. he said the building wasn't zoned for residential living and that we were living here illegally. he said that the rooms and staircases we've built were made without permits and were illegal. he said the landlord is obligated by law to relocate us. the building will probably be torn down in june. 2:25 am - 01.13.06 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
