genealogical sleep

what is the name in that brothers grimm fairy tale about the little man that falls alseep under the tree for years and years? i am related to him by blood.*

tonight i decided to take a nap before moving on to other things but being so recently sick and so obviously myself i slept seven hours.

(*i am also related to the [in]famous mayflower prostitute, her puritan name i cannot remember either, but i have read her journals and tried to look in-between their lines for traces of my laugh.)
