novembre ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i love steven tyler's lips "hold on loosely but don't let go/ don't hold on tight to that girl/ because you'll lose control" i'm a little worried when i realize that the lyrics to sleazy 70's rock ballads speak to me. after i dropped kirsten off in san francisco, i blasted the bone (107.7 fm for you in the bay area) and rocked out. i felt so suave, trolling down gough with my hand lingering out the window, singing along to aerosmith and then whatever came after "sweet emotion" even though i had no idea 1) what band 2) what song and 3) what lyrics were accompanying me on the radio. but classic rock can teach you. come on, LET IT GUIDE YOUR HEART LIKE IT HAS GUIDED MINE. i'm learning not to be as needy, jealous, open-wounded as i'm prone to be. and i'll be damned if music like that wasn't made especially to give me hints how to live my life. i wonder if you can weed out sarcasm and see the truth. sweeeeeeeet emotion. anyhow. friends and i went to see the excorsist tonight. i kept laughing when no one else did, but i honestly thought it was hilarious whenever linda blair was on screen. especially head-spinning or walking down the stairs upside-down on all fours. 2:09 am - 9.23.2000 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
